Spanish Program at MSR

The goal of the Spanish program at Montessori School of Rome is to create a foundation that students can build upon year after year throughout the rest of their schooling.

The students will comprehend the language, feel confident enough to communicate, and connect with the Spanish-speaking world.  Each student will gain a comprehension of the Spanish language through various instruction methods including: audio presentations, in-depth vocabulary readings, answering questions, and the interpretation, translation and retention of the language.  To enrich the student’s learning experience, an emphasis is placed on connecting with the Spanish-speaking world through engaging study, hands-on activities, and knowledgeable guest speakers.

At Montessori, students are given the tools they need to communicate their ideas verbally and in writing.  Here, students are prepared to use their skills in a diverse world with other Spanish speakers.
