Gabriela Shaw

Gabriela is from Monterrey, Mexico. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Mexico and a Master’s Degree in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). She also has a TEFL certification from the University of Arizona and a TEAP certification (Teaching English for Academic Purposes) from the University of Guelph, Canada.

In 2016, she was chosen by the British Council to instruct Spanish in London, England and had an amazing time teaching the language and Mexican culture.

Before moving to Rome, she worked as a TEFL instructor for seven years in Monterrey. She moved to Armuchee in 2019 and lives with her husband Eric.

Gabi speaks Spanish, English, French and German. She is passionate about languages and is very happy to join the Montessori School of Rome.
