Primary Lead Guide

Ortrud joins with over 20 years of teaching experience. She started her Montessori path when her daughter was enrolled in an AMI Montessori school in Indiana and Ortrud was asked if she would like to be a classroom assistant. The school then offered to send her to training and she became an AMI trained 3-6 Guide (Primary). Ortrud has worked in schools internationally in Asia and in Europe. She has been tasked with the starting of new classrooms in several of these schools. Her expertise has been in language studies for children taking on English as a second or third language. Ortrud has also had experience working in the IB school programs, being trained in PYP (primary years program) for children beginning their IB school studies.
